| Truss Bracing |
Provides lateral support for the trusses. |
| Roof Purlin |
Supports the roofing material. |
| Roof Purlin Overlap |
Overlap of two purlins provides extra strength. |

| Drip-Edge |
Length of overhang of roofing materials from the end of a roof. This prevents rain and other elements from destroying the edges of the roof. |
| Upper Offset |
Offset of siding from the top of the wall. |
| Lower Offset |
Offset of siding from the ground. |
| Sheet Overlap |
Amount of overlap of siding to prevent leaks between sheets of material. |
| Gable/Truss Offset |
Offset from the top of the roof to the top of the gable end truss. |

Boards that run diagonally from corner to corner on a wall. This provides sheer support to the walls in the case of high winds. |
| Extra Post Length |
Extra length of post past the bottom on the roof purlin. |
| Door Header |
Boards that provide overhead support to entryways. |
