The following versions can be installed and run directly from Windows 7:
- Deck Standard 6.1.4 (The Home Depot)
- Deck Standard 6.5.12 (McFarland)
- Deck Standard 6.5.13 (CorrectDeck)
- Deck Standard 6.5.16 (Elk)
- Deck Standard 6.5.18 (Universal Forest Products)
- Deck Standard 7.0.19 (CertainTeed)
The following version must be installed using Windows XP Service Pack 3 Compatibility Mode
(see below for additional information), but can be run directly from Windows 7:
Perform the following steps to access Windows XP Service Pack 3 Compatibility Mode:
1. Locate the install program (either downloaded to your computer,
or on the installation CD) OR the icon to launch the software.
2. Right-click on the icon, and choose Properties from the menu.
3. Click the Compatibility tab, and click in the checkbox under "Compatibility Mode".
4. Choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from the list of available operating systems.
5. Click the OK button to continue.
6. Double-click the icon to install or launch the program.
If the version number for your software does not appear
in the list shown above, it was not tested on Windows 7.
